2021 SESPA SEASON DETAILS:

7/3 Mixed Slo-Pitch League (every extra guy requires an extra girl in the line up)

4 Divisions of Play:

Div A (Mondays) - most competitive
Div B (Tuesdays)
Div C (Wednesdays)
Div D (Thursdays or Sundays) - least stressful

The regular season typically kicks off in early May, with a bonus pre-season opener tourney on the 1st or 2nd weekend of the month and runs right through until early September, with a 2 week gap for make up games to get played out standings can be updated and accurate before putting together the schedule for the year end tournament which usually goes down on the 3rd weekend of the month.

There are approximately 25 games in the regular season
Weekly play(80% double headers, 20% single games)
Most diamonds are shale located on the south side of Edmonton.
1 year end and 2 bonus tourney's

Ump yourself league----until the playoffs. then umps will be provided from the league

TOURNAMENTS:

1) Pre-Season Tournament - May 7th - 9th, 2021 (TBD - Covid 19 Phase/Guideline/)

2) Mid-Season Tournament - July 9 - 11th, 2021 -This is where it all goes down! (TBD - Covid 19 Phase/Guideline)

This is a fun, 3 division, camping weekend style tourney out in the sticks 45 West of the city
Camping is provided free of charge right at the diamonds.
Private land with full use. Fully licensed.
Concession, home run cash derby (men’s and women’s), games and prizes.
Should weather not be cooperating, we’ve got you covered (literally)

3) Year End Tournament - September 17 - 19th, 2021. - Based on the years standings this tournament will decide the division champions. (TBD - Covid 19 Phase/Guideline)
